Glass cages are another option but they can be difficult to clean and they can also be dangerous if not enough ventilation is provided and gases build up in them and make your pet sick. A good, cheap small pet cage is a combination of wire and plastic, with plenty of ventilation and easy to clean.
Buying your small pet cage is an important decision, shop and do some research because this will be his home and he will only be happy in an environment that he is comfortable in. Don’t forget, when buying your small pet cages, pick up other essential items, food, water bottle, bedding and maybe their first toy!
